With belly dancing coming into the American mainstream pop culture, it's sure to be the hit of the party! And we will definitely help you to make it an event to remember!

Parties
Having dancers entertain at parties is a centuries-old custom, and Belly Dance is an exciting, beautiful, cultural, family friendly way to do it. Our graceful and vibrant style, combined with costuming and music will delight guests of all ages. Along with an exceptional display of Belly Dance, audience participation can also be part of the fun. When you contact us, we will ask numerous questions to help create the best performance for your event.

Time and length of show(s). Set length ranges from 10 to 50 minutes.
Cost for a 10 minute performance starts at
$60 plus travel expenses for events outside of the Wilson area or prime time rates.
For weddings, the performance fee starts at $120. There is a surcharge for Christmas and New Year's
Eve parties.
Tipping is not required; however,
your generosity is culturally appropriate and greatly
appreciated. In Arab countries, audiences often
participate in the entertainment by tossing money onto the
dance floor or over the dancer, to express their
appreciation of the dance. This is called a money shower.
A host often provides singles for guests to get change
should they want to tip with a money shower. Some hosts
prefer to tip in an envelope. Please remember to keep the family friendly
atmosphere in mind when tipping.
Bachelorette Parties
Are you or one of your friends getting
married soon? Consider a group bellydance class as part of the bachelorette
party. A bellydance class is always a
unique and fun way to bond with friends and get the party started while learning
the ancient art form of bellydance! It's a way to have fun, do something as a group, and celebrate the feminine
spirit. Kick off your night of bachelorette festivities with a group bellydance
lesson, before heading out for a night on the town.
Cost is $20 per person (minimum charge is
$100)
Here's what comes in the 'Bachelorette Party Package':
55 minutes of group bellydance instruction with two teachers who brings music & a CD player
The Goddess Party
A full participation, educational workshop to celebrate, to nurture, and to share understandings of the goddess in every woman.
At this workshop you will learn how to improve your personal relationships, enhance your self-esteem, reduce your stress/help protect your health.
Suggested for women's groups, girls' night out, employee appreciation days,
theme parties, Christmas parties, New Year's Eve, Mother's Day, or Valentine's
night.
Fee: $200 (minimum request of 5 participants - extra fee may apply to more
then 12 participants)
Bellygrams
A Bellygram is a short performance, 5-7 minutes, that is aimed at one recipient, not an entire party. Raq Mundi will travel anywhere in the Wilson area to surprise your friend, mother, officemate, etc. with a short bellydance routine. All bellygrams are meant to be suitable and entertaining for ALL ages. When you contact us, we will ask numerous questions to help create the best performance for your Bellygram.
Bellygram date, occasion, location, size of space, contact person, name of recipient
Specialty requests (zills, sword, veil, delivery of gift, etc)
The recipient of the gram will receive:
A "You've been Belly-grammed" card
A photo with the dancer
Bellygrams start at $60 plus travel expenses for grams outside of the Wilson area. Tips gratefully appreciated.
